Pastel Abstract Non - Objective
My works in pastel are created using both hard and soft pastels, inks, charcoal and at times gesso. I often create my own substrates on papers or hard boards. These abrasive substrates are needed to hold the pastel in place. Pastel sticks are pure pigment with a dash of binder and are known for their luminous qualities, one big reason I love pastels so much.
My style is intuitive, organic shapes and lines with the goal is to create something unique, joyful and evoke a sense of energy.
